To function more like the human kidney, we build thousands of fibers in each Pharmazel dialyzer where each fiber acts like a nephron (human kidney element). Its advanced pore spinning technology creates more homogeneous pore sizes to optimize sieving properties, also its uniform pore size results in better removal of uremic toxins and low molecular weight proteins, with limited loss of important proteins such as albumin .
Pharmazel advances dialyzer design in terms of composition,
performance and removal results. We manufacture with polypropylene
casing and headers, which do not contain BPA. The interior design with an ultra-smooth polypropylene cut surface and finely terminated hollow fiber internal lumens ensures smooth blood flow and minimizes potential blood cell damage.
The improved header shape with redesigned permanent caps reduces channeling on the blood side while eliminating the possibility of unexpected disposal or reuse.
The ultra-smooth polyurethane cut surface on the Pharmazel dialyzer minimizes the risk of blood cell damage during hemodialysis.
